O Creator
A bright, quite reliable source,
You guide and glide
through my tumultuous course
Of life with love
Later, unto the light above
I ask; You respond;
You and I have a bond
With my faith (in You) so true
Gratitude (upon You) does imbue
A bond bound so tight
Others have yet to sight
They can't seem to find
Your love for mankind
But I wasn't blind
We didn't meet in the greet of the priest
Or with the Muslims in the Middle East
Nor was it in any church,
that I concluded my search
For I knew where to start:
In my desperate, welcoming heart.
