The Clown
No one sees the pain in the clown’s eyes, they only feel the laughter
He hopes soon they’ll see his real cries, and be sorry thereafter
All he does is hear their lies, as they expect entertainment
He feels like he has no true allies, for he can never make a true statement
Making people laugh is his only disguise, so that he can please the masses
Hoping that he could talk to someone about his feelings before his demise, while wishing no one could see his struggle through his dark sunglasses
But maybe one day they will hear his sighs, and soon come after
Yet to this day no one sees the pain in his eyes, they only feel the laughter
