Nothing to Remember
The sky is rattled with dots and birds.
My mind is filled with forgotten words.
The water makes me feel like the world is not spinning.
The way that I’m going feels like the beginning.
“What about me?” is on everyone’s mind.
It’s right in front of you, but too hard to find.
It’s under your nose but you can’t smell the scent.
You feel kind of broken but you were never bent.
The night is rattled with light and flashes.
My paper is littler with lines and dashes.
Feeling what I can’t like I’m not a member.
But nothing is worse than having nothing to remember.
