Outstretched arms swing the pail
Clanking against the swift-motion of running legs
Speeding down the slope towards the ripened fields
Faster, and faster…
Eager hands scoop and shovel berries
As puffs of warm wind rustle leaves in the distance

Stiff arms drag the bucket forward
Thumping against the heavy legs
Clambering back up the mountain
Slower, and slower…
Juice-stained hands finished scavenging for remnants
As fire beats against the flaming fields
