Leave me alone…
I’m sick of being questioned
Ran out of your answers
You pushed play too often
I’m repeatedly out of order
I don’t know what I want to do
No, I don’t know who I am
How could I know if I like what I like
Or hate what I hate
All I know is that I’m here
And all I can do is
Be me.

The author's comments:
As a junior in high school my parents, teachers, and councilors are always asking me what I want to do and who I want to be. This poem was written to help myself explain that I'm not sure yet, I am still trying to figure out what I like and what I dislike.
