Pure Love
Oh my heart has been tainted
by simple pure love,
A complexity known only
To God up above
A feeling where all
but truth doth abound,
yet something where nothing
But truth can be found.
For my heart is asunder
when ere she is gone,
And my soul rent in sorrow;
I can't find my song
Oh my soul is consumed
by the feel of the pain
the want to be with her
forever again
Time with and without her
upon which shall dwell
the distinction between
Both Heaven and Hell
For my love is a beauty
so endless and vast
That forever my tainted heart
Will stay strong and last
The love that I give that is
secret and known
Shall always sustain me:
Let her always know that she is:
MY OWN
