If humankind were a tree,
then benevolence would be a flower
No matter where the tree grows,
the flower beautifies
Plucking the petals,
will not inhibit its growth
Tearing the branch,
will lament the tree

If humankind were a tree,
malevolence would be a strangling vine.
No matter where the tree grows,
the vine follows.
Plucking the leaves off the vine,
will not inhibit its growth.
Uprooting the vine,
will collapse the tree.
