Why Murder?

16 years.
My life full of tears.
By ringing bullets.


Left my cousin
dead in his blood.

But I wonder
Why in my neighborhood?
I thought when I got older things were better?


No.


Not For Me.
Why it have to go down that way?

Who knows.
It sends my soul a shiver.
I heard it. "Pow!"
My cousin left dead by the trigger.

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this after seeing my cousin get shot in front of my face. I'm hoping that people will understand that seeing violence happening in front of your face will change the way you view the world.

Heart-breaking. I understand that it must have been extremly hard to go through . Breautiful piece of writing.

I am sincerley sorry for what happened. Violence must stop at once.
