"Ichigo, what's the difference between a King and his horse? I don't mean kiddy s*** like 'One's a person and one's an animal' or 'One has two legs and one has four'. If their form, ability, and power were exactly the same, why is it that one becomes the King and controls the battle, while the other becomes the horse and carries the King?! There's only one answer; INSTINCT!" ~ Ichigo's Inner Hollow from the anime/manga 'Bleach' by Tite Kubo

Dragons and Wizards
We read and watch them everyday
Yet could they be real?
I could be asking this just of simple hope
But suppose, just suppose, if they were real.
Instead of fueling the air with emission from gasoline,
We’d be filling them with Dragons taking people to and fro.
Or, better yet, with a twirl and flick of our magic wands,
We could be studying about wizards and magic.
Then again, you cannot accept the goods
Without accepting the bads.
Which could be as simple as more money on beef
Or, fiery tempers letting loose in the sky above our homes.
A few more school supplies to take to dorm rooms every night
Or a real life Voldemort to wreck our lives down to the core.
Now that I’ve stopped and think about it a little bit
I begin to think that Dragons and Wizards
Are better off in stories and movies
Like they belong, but
I wonder still…

Have you ever just stopped and wonder what would happen if your favorite thing from fantasy was non-fictional?

I love this peom. People don't write fantasy poetry very often and I enjoy that kind of thing.
