Petals of wilted beauty,
a rich purple profile,
dangles blossoms of lost hope,
leaves turn to brown,
loses color,
lets go,
and falls down,
past the thorns on the stem,
drifting farther,
and farther away,
from the life it had known,
Beauty is now the Beast
