I used to think you were so strong
You were always so happy
Always so optimistic about everything
I always felt like you would go far
Farther than I could ever dream
But then I found your needles
And all your pathetic drugs
When I tried to help you
You came crashing down
You went into rehab as an angry person
Scared to face reality
When you came out sober
It was like meeting you for the first time
Because you were finally living in reality
