Shoes
The rush of getting a new pair
All colors green, yellow, blue and red
that’s what I dream about while asleep in my bed
I don’t discriminate I like Jordans, Nikes and Vans
When I get a new pair I look hotter than a frying pan
I like to match my shoes to my shirt
I’m a grown man I don’t wear a skirt
My shoes are so cool I don’t need to drive a sedan
Because I would rather stroll the sidewalk
I have no need for a bike either
I don’t dare play hopscotch with chalk
My shoes are so hot they’re giving people a fever
Everyone is sweating and coughing
But I just turn my head and keep on walking
