Now your lives don't blend the way they used to.
spending more time alone than you're used to.

hiding in the shadows of a problem that never ends.
hide in the bushes of hurt
behind the walls of lovers revenge.

broken promises, and broken hearts, and broken faith.
broken, broken everything.
trying so hard to salvage the tiny pieces of what was.
the pieces of the things we used to take for granted.
the nights we never used to spend alone.
the times we used to laugh,
and fight, and make-up.
all the pieces shattered by the time you chose to give up.
untie your shoes.
sit down.
watch the t.v.
let the silence sink in.
let the darkness cradle you,
the way you used to cradle her.
feeling more alone than you've ever felt before.
i used to want this.
i dont anymore.
