The room goes sparkle, splatter, splat,
The sculptor furiously pounding the mat,
The art in the room has a life of its own,
A girl in the corner; an imperfect cone,
Another by a window, painting a bloom,
The boy in the middle, sketching a room,
The typical best friends, laughing at their table,
Flinging sparkles, golden glitter their label,
The heightened rainbow of colors, mixed and laid,
Visitors marveling at the works it made,
Now let’s not forget the omniscient adult,
The young artist’s learning; he is at fault,
Off to the side, smiling to himself,
Shaking his head, re-arranging a shelf,
High school life, it all goes away,
While they peacefully work at the end of the day.

Art is my favorite subject and i love it so much. My best friends are in my class and we are the glitter girls in the poem (:
