take my quivering, fearful hand in yours,
lead me step by step through uncharted adventures.
show me the answers i've always yearned for,
but were too afraid to seek for myself.
hold my unknowing, questioning hand,
keep it warm and let me know you'll always be there.
introduce me to a world of excitement;
a world where anything is possible,
and my dreams hide right around the corner.
but all the while, keep me safe.
hold my hand every step of the way.
take my all too willing hand,
and i'll show you a life with me.
