Ode to Chewy,

I bought you from a

Man when you were

Just a baby calf.


You were not more then

500 pounds at the time.


I raised you and put so

Much time into your black

fluffy hair.

You licked it and put cowlicks


in it, but I didn’t mind.


Although you were a pain


In my butt, I still enjoyed


You, as we pulled you on

the back of the truck you


just laid down, but wouldn’t walk.


You put your hooves in your


Water bucket and made it all muddy.



Even though I did enjoy

Raising and showing you,


I have never been more


Thankful then the time


When we took you to


The packer and you came

back in little white packages,


which contained your delicious meat.



The moral of the ode is even


though I did enjoy raising you the


best part was tasting your

delicious juicy meat
