The clouds in my wineglass are healing my heartache
Letting me forget.
I dance and smile; rejoice and sing.
I won't have to think of you tonight.

Until, that is,
I wake from my high.
I see you next to me
Touching my face, my arms, my heart.
Turn away, I do not want you.
The clouds in my wineglass let me forget.

This poem is actually for one of my closest and dearest friends Victoria. Her rough relationship history has always made me want to write, seeing how it's much easier for me to relate to her what I meant through my writing.
This is for you, Tori. <3
