Nature's Gift
Mirage of unparalled wonders for those who seek it,
Transculent, luminous and deep,
Flowing peacefully and silently, oblivious to its surroundings
Never aging, never changing.
Nature's gift to the world
Cold, unforgiving, and merciless to those trapped in it,
Both destroying and sheltering its denizens.
Slowly, indiscriminately suffocating life,
Like a sandstorm, unyielding and chaotic,
Leaving no trace of its victims.
Blue, like the vast, beautiful sky,
Hiding both dangers and wonders within its womb.
Its spectators are mesmerized
And unaware of the allure it exudes,
Water.
