Eternally

The night calms me,
Like no other can,
Its silence is music to my ears,
The moon shines brightly,
Just for me,
As I walk down this beach of misery,
The memories flash through my head,
Of all the times we had,
Just having fun in the sand,
Swimming and laughing with all of our friends,
Yet you chose to leave me for Him,
Killing yourself a little at a time,
Fist starving and cutting in all of those lines,
Upon your body were scrapes and gashes,
Then it all ended when you ended your life,
By closing your eyes and cutting your wrists,
You didn’t even give me a chance to explain,
All of the reasons I need you here with me,
Like a sister I loved you and helped you at times,
Now you’re missing and I’m still here,
Walking on this beach,
Thinking about all of the memories of you,
But it’s time to move on,
I don’t know if I can,
The one thing I must remember,
Is that you are in a better place,
With out pain, sorrow, or violence,
Of every day life,
And that one day,
I’ll live up there with you,
Where the sun always shines,
And I can be at peace,
Eternally.
