Why...?
I see her face,
And I Sit and wonder,
Why would anyone
Want to be like her?
Her cackle makes my
Hair stand on end, and
The look in her eyes
Makes me want to puke.
She saunters around like
She’s queen of the world,
And I gotta wonder,
Why would anyone
Want to be around her?
The sharp words on her
Tongue make my eyes water
And throat close, and
I sit and ponder,
Why would anyone
Want to be friends
With her?
Her whispers behind their
backs make my legs go numb,
And I sit down and think,
Why would anyone
Sit and talk to her?
Nothing someone like me says
Will change what she does.
But I still can’t stop wondering,
Why…?
