what you really see

and whose beauty takes your breath away
i know that isnt what you see

and self hatred that i feel
or do you see the
mask that giggles and smiles
all the time

i wonder what you truly see
and try to ignore
because masks can crack
and let their secrets slip out
and its happened a few times before.

so be honest and tell me what you see
the perfectness
or the one im trying to be
do you turn away from the real one
the one whose flawed inside and out
or do not see it
