The bell rings.
I spring out of
my seat.
Trying to reach
the bright
multi-colored
Merry-Go-Round
First.
You sit there.
All alone.
On the rainbow
Looking.
Spin ride.
A girl,
My best friend?
spins me over,
and over.
Till both of us,
Flop on the ground
gripping our stomachs
and laughing
or girlish laughs.
The merry-go-round
