Forgiveness I

As i walk across the corridor,
with my bare feet touching the cold floor,
i saw this man looking callously at me.
His eyes are full of loneliness displayed by tears,
and shoulders full of burden, looking for pears.
In his hand, he holds a picture captioned 'My life',
on the other a short rusty knife.
Then his lips began to mumble words i can't understand,
making my heart beat faster to where i stand.
So i grab all of my strength and make a step closer,
wanted to comfort him, make him feel better.
But as i drew closer my knees began to tremble in horror,
weakened for i was just looking at myself in the mirror.
