I understand

I can see why you'd be upset,
I can perfectly comprehend your sadness,
And the pain you must feel, is indeed something i can fathom.
But what YOU must see,
What YOU must understand,
Is that it's for the best.
What everyone is doing,
To us and to you,
Is in your best interest.
They're trying to help you,
They're trying to protect you,
So please don't be angry.
So please don't be sad.
And please, please, whatever you do, don't get depressed.
For I understand,
I really and truly do.
All i ask from you,
Is to understand too.
