Nobody knows what it's like to be dead
No matter how many books you've read
That's why we are gathered here today
To hope, to cry, to mourn, to pray
That our fellow friend makes it to the next land
And that God may help and give us a hand
The hurt in my heart will last until it's my turn
To go and hope not in hell to burn

To mourn, it hurts. To forget, there's shame
If Death doesn't kill, it drives you insane
