Who am I?
I am You.
I am the darkness you try to hide
I am the happiness that sneaks inside
I am the sorrow that fills your dreams
I am the thing that makes me, me

Who are you?
You are Me.
You are the heart that beats for two
You are the song that hides the blue
You are the wall that blocks me out
You are the reason I scream and shout

Who are We?
We are us.
You are the beginning and I am the end
You are the bad habit and I am the distraction
You are understanding and I am understood
You are the monster and I am the light
But you are what makes my heart feel right

The author's comments:
This wasn't going to be a romantic poem but it just sort of happened... It's about two people completing each other. The poem is based off of one of my friendships.

My friend suggested I call it Mirror. I think the title fits perfectly.
