Fashion fascists (a puzzle of plastic) This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

All hail the plastic queens.
who make others live past their means.
By proclaiming what true beauty is.
deep inside those words, controllers are hid.
to make those most uncomfortable about themselves.
go out and empty the retail shelves.
To pray to Prada.
To become the Bob Mackie lackeys
To pilfer for Hilfiger
To dress the same, in clothes with names
to brand yourself someone's cattle
merely by the denim you pay so much to straddle
doesn't matter if it fits too tight.
I'm sure there's a surgery to make your body right
