I broke
I shattered
I picked my self up
Glued myself back together
Covered up the seams
You never realized
How broken I was
Never quite right
Always Missing
One piece
One Shred
Of Hope
And Love
And what was once me
I swept it up
Hid it away
Closed the door
And tried
To leave the past behind
I thought it would be
Easy
I thought it was
Done
Forgotten
I broke
I shattered
I covered the seams
I never realized
The pain it was causing me
