Snow Day
When I wake up,
I see your white blanket
Covering the ground
I say to myself “Hurray”
“No School…. Snow Day!”
Your beauty to me
Is such a great sight?
You make me
Feel happy and energized
Although you come
But once a year
You bring such joy
To all who’s here
You are fragile
To the touch
I wish you’d come
Oh… So much
So while you’re here
We will play
Building snowmen, forts,
And snow angles,
Having snowball fights
Everyday
So hurry up
And come real soon
Fall really thick
Fall really fast
Don’t melt too quickly
We want you
To LAST
