I am alone standing right in front of you
You see a crowd

I’m yelling in your face
You hear a whisper

I wave my arms and dance around
You sense my stillness

I define all my words
You refuse to comprehend

I bring you love in song
You stare in loathing

The distance closes with our breaths
Our fingers knit a world

The author's comments:
This poem is all about being able to be exactly who you are when you're with someone you love. It's basically my outlook on love.
