Deeper into self image
People stare and arouse
One on one conversation
And it’s whispered too loud
Takes its toll speaking heavy
Thinking from within
Take my chance when I can
Place my bet, I’m all in

One day in my shoes
Little to no credit
Told at one time
If it happens, just let it
Cause my mind, is my mind
Do things for me
Self image, with no picture
I’m gone, they can’t see

Not that I’m troubled
Have yet to break free
Tick tock on the clock
World froze beneath me
High above the ground
Still lower than the ceiling
Try to stand up
Still feels like I’m kneeling
Not that I’m short
I just keep on believing
The sky's not the limit
So quit self deceiving

Look back at the mirror
Where’s my reflection
Disappeared in a flash
Feel no rejection
All about the plus
No negative infection
The mirror stares at me
I’m my own perfection
