I sat on my ride, anchored in shallow waters.
They asked if I was ready, I replied that I was.
They lifted the anchor, causing the water to take me.
It was a long, dark journey towards the waters below.
My eyes could not see, only rows of stars as light.
I screamed with excitement, for the waters were fast.
It felt like I was going to crash,
The jerk to the side didn’t make the feelings last.
I finally see light, my exit through the night.
I flipped to the air, crashing to the seas

The journey to the skies, much more frightening than the sea.
We sat in out ride, parked on the ground.
We wore our belts, we waited for launch.
They shot us to the sky while we were unprepared.
I closed my eyes; the wind slapped my face,
Like it was solid, instead of gas.
My friend was screaming; yelling, “Oh my god! Oh my god!”
I, for one, was laughing, for his words have tickled me.
We flipped in the skies, adrenaline rushing.
The ride left him shaken, but I trembled in excitement.
