Tears of sweat trickle down the silhouette of his hand—
Anticipation pierces every single on his veins
as he awaits for her arrival.

The looks upon the guests are tear-filled,
while smiles and joyful whispers flutter amongst them.

To his relief the bells begin chiming and
The door to his soul mate grants his wishes
of her appearance.

She grasps her bouquet while clutching
Onto her father’s shaky elbow-
Her tongue dry and her heartbeat resonating in her ear
After ever step her feet allowed, bring nervousness to her.

The soft touch of the porcelain pink petals
Against the carpeted aisle brings wanted serenity to her heart.

While she glances though the small holes of her veil,
She approaches him. Her future.
Once she is released to him,
Tears splash the beds of both their cheeks.
In search of comfort he begins to trace the bones
Of her fragile hand.

Between smiles and excitement, Both mutter “I do.”
He kisses her, eternally promising that
Their heartbeats will forever beat in unison-
As the rhythm of a symphony.

As their lips hug one another, their
Fingers interlock.

They are forever bound.
