With you I am afraid.
I am afraid of what I don’t know.
I don’t know what you are thinking,
What you are thinking frightens me

With you I am afraid.
I am afraid of my feelings for you.
My feelings for you go to the sky,
The sky is where I want to be.
I want to be with you,
But being with you frightens me.

I have never done this before,
This is all new to me.
I have never gotten this close to someone,
And that frightens me.

I have never done this before,
This makes me scared.
But if I wasn’t scared,
What would I be?
Being afraid is exciting,
I am doing something new.
Being afraid has never felt so good.
