Feels blue, like
Can of coke feels blue,
Makes you blink when you see the red
Feel blue like cold coke,
Feels blue, about the weight
Of Jack Nicholson's singing voice;
The weight of a wadded ball of cellophane
Rough edges on the lips
Kissing dad goodbye before a shave
I cried when he cut the beard
Smells so much like scissors
1999, and just as smooth
But it's as bright as a full moon cut by a meteorite:
It is a rubber chicken.
