my favorite days
February 20, 2010
the wind rushes
against my face
as i dance
my feet not touching the ground
i leap and
bound
across the air
relishing in my weighlessness
finally
i begin to fall
i begin my journey
to the ground
finally
i land
with a small splat
as i am spread everywhere
my friends join me
landing next to me
as we smile to each other
we say we love being raindrops.
