Can You
You thought you could do it
You said you could do it
You looked every last one of them dead in the eye and swore you could do it!
But how could you have known?
When such doubt clouds your mind
You struggle, you grasp at some thought, some hope, any reassurance you can find
The guilt weights heavy
So much so that you put up a front
But their eyes are so deep
Can they really see through your desperate disguise?
Left with only one option
You push now, you push hard for any last hope, any last drive you can find
Even now when doubt consumes your mind
Who are you?
