Runner Up
Final two,
it is me or him,
I need to win,
Thinking in my head this is my chance,
I’m ganna be crien if Ryan doesn’t announce that I won
The pain
We are standing side by side
Having our mouths dropped
While Ryan speaks
He pauses for a moment
And states
“We will be back after this”
I got even more anxious
To know
Who will win
I am starting to sweat
In the endless 2 minutes
Then the 2 minutes were up
He say loudly that the next American Idol is….
At that time when he announced the name of the winner
I didn’t hear who won
I look beside me
The person beside me looked depressed
Confetti popped out from both sides of the stage
I started jumping up and down
As I saw my picture pop all around me on a giant screen
I thought to myself,
For the first time ever I am not the runner up
