The sun is the golden lego
and legos were never meant to imitate metal,
it is the brightest beam radiating from
the bottomless bucket of regular legos.

The moon is the newest white lego
the unbuilt white lego,
the just unwrapped lego
until now sealed from the earth,
sealed from the air
sealed in a vacuum,
its minted luster intact,
its edges lethally sharp.

The sky is the teeming infinity
of all the blue legos to have ever been made in the lego factory
all the blue legos retrieved from every household
every drawer they are lost in
and liberated to build themselves unto the vault of the sky,
every newly forged blue lego joining them
to expand the universe,
the lego set never to be complete.
