If ever there is a tomorrow when were not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe. Stronger than you seem & smarter than you think, but the most important thing is, even if were apart I'll always be you.

The wind whips my hair around my face,
the clear blue sky smiles upon me,
the music is blaring,
oh those summer days.
Screams of laughter fill the air,
sun kissed bodies move around,
flip flops and sunscreen for all,
oh those summer days.
Warm sand between my toes,
cool water embraces me,
everything is right in the world,
oh those summer days.
Living carefree for once,
lovers stroll upon sunset,
ocean waves crash,
oh those summer days.
The summer comes and goes,
with a whirl of motion,
oh how I will never forget those
summer days.

Summer is my favorite time of the year so why not write a poem about it?

i liked the repetitiveness of this poem. i like it when you just barely notice it. summer is my fav. time of the yr, too, so i understand why you would write a poem about it!! keep writing and check out my poems too
