My Blue Notebook

Take out that blue notebook,
Once again,
While you're waiting for him
To call you back,
And write of all the miseries
Of being in a relationship;
This thing you call love:
Can't eat, can't sleep,
You're bored out of your mind,
'Cause you have nothing to do
But call him,
And speak to him,
And plead with him.
Listen to his voice,
Tell him you love him
'Til he makes you mad again
"Gets on your nerves"
And whip out that blue notebook
Once again
And tell me all about it
All over again
