The naughty man
With a loving heart
Kissed a girl
For the wrong reason
Under the setting sun

A cute couple
Had been together forever
Until the horrible night
Underneath the bleachers

All the forgotten memories
Rose to the surface
Of the past
That had long been forgotten

Running quickly
Towards each other
The naughty man and naïve girl
Escape into the forbidden night

Together forever
Is what they hope for
Laughing all their worries away
But love isn’t always as it seems

Being alone
Is her worse fear
So she runs to him
For all the wrong reasons

Longing to find what she is looking for
She heads out on her own
Not letting her fear stop her
She puts her heart out there

Hoping maybe someone will catch her
If she falls
She makes that leap
Takes that chance

Because she believes it is better to be loved for who you are
Than not to be loved at all
So putting her fears and regrets aside
She starts trusting again, with a broken heart
