Everything, and Using Eachother

We become who we truly are,
when no one's looking.
The friends we trust so much,
the family we love so dearly,
the boys we like,
when they don't look, we become who we truly are.
Because no one is the real them anymore,
especially not around other people.
Because that just might be
too scary for them to handle.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
or maybe it's just too scary for us.
We don't want to be judged.
Because everyone in this world does it.
The real girls admit it, but are discreet,
the silly boys try to deny it, but aren't very good at it.
Girls take a breathe, and take it gracefully,
the boys deny it's happening, and ignore what's there,
The girls deal with it, sometimes.
The boys don't deal with it, sometimes.
Everyone's going through this feeling.
The feeling of not being all here,
the feeling of not being loved,
the feeling of everything.
They both have one thing in common, though,
They both want an escape from this feeling.
So they use eachother.
Boys want sex, it's their vice,
Girls want love, that's theirs too.
Boys and girls use eachother,
because they are trying to escape,
escape what? you might ask.
Well, the answer to that question can vary,
but the biggest answer of all?
Everything.
Because everything's gonna hurt you.
Everything's gonna stress you out.
Everything is going to make you want
want to laugh,
want to cry,
want to hug,
want to love,
Everything is going to make you want,
and everything is going to make you need.
everything brings up all these feelings,
the feelings that girls take with grace,
the feelings that boys ignore completely.
They use eachother so they can escape.
So that they don't have to want.
So that they don't have to need.
So that they won't feel raw,
because that's the kind of emotions they are.
want and need are raw emotions,
they make you feel everything.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
And no one wants that,

Now do we?
