Easy truth

Easy

I'm sitting here by the truth
Watching my life go by
So many windows of opportunity
Are cracked and broken by winds of time
It's so easy
So easy to just let it pass
Current pulls you
As the life raft called submission
Pulls you along to the end of your river

I'm sitting here with the truth
And it's my instruction manual
To falling
Leaving the raft behind
The waters are choppy and strong
But the truth gives me strength
And though the rapids never calm
They embrace me as I push them away
While the life raft slowly flows into the sunset
And crashes in a noiseless explosion
Over the Waterfall

I'm sitting here in the truth
And it's not easy, love's not easy
But nothing's easy
And that's the truth
