A seven pound eleven ounce bundle of love
Red hair like fire
A smile like gold
God’s gifts are endless
Now I know why...

My nephew is life
He is life to me
Born from two amazing people
Life is passed on
When I held him for the first time...
I saw his future, I saw him being loved and cherished
I made a promise then.
‘I promise Devin, I am not going to let anyone hurt you. I will protect you with my life.’
To today I keep that, and I still will, he’s my light, my joy
And I will make sure he has the best future there can be
