A cat sits on a window ledge
It watches the landscape attentively
Until someone walks past
Its ears lie flat on its head
It turns around and
Stares at the person, saying
Who are you?
What are you doing here?
Why have you distracted me?
The cat tries to look dignified, but
Fails as you pull out a piece of string
It falls off the ledge and, embarrassed,
Runs off to sulk
Later it emerges from its hiding place
(The laundry basket)
And returns to its perch,
Once more the regal ruler of all it surveys
(In its own head)
Until you dangle a piece of string

So True! I have a cat myself who always tries to act all nonchalant when other people stroll by. But the next second her eyes are no longer hollow and she's purring like no tomorrow. Very descriptive and truthful, please tell me you have more stuff about cats!!

Omigosh, George and Lenny do EXACTLY THAT! They're my best friends cat's but I go over to her house so often they love me too.  It's really funny!
