Rain and Sunshine
The world is a place,
A place where many different things happen,
Rain
Rain is rain,
Rain is water,
Rain falls from the sky,
Not only to quench the thirst of plants,
But to start a party for humans,
Puddles,
Puddles are from rain,
Splashing is an addiction to any joyful child
But after the rain,
There is Sunshine,
A beautiful sight,
A merry sight for all to admire,
Something to warm the cold,
And something to tell the kids,
“Get off the couch and run outside,
Play with me! Play with me,”
Play with,
The Sunshine.
Enjoy the warmth and love,
Like grandma’s cookies and hot cocoa.
Sunshine,
Sunshine is a messenger,
With a message telling all to cheer up,
Enjoy the sunshine while you can,
It won’t be here forever.
