The smell of cigarette smoke
lifts up into my nostrils,
Making me want to gauge.
Trying so hard to get out of
the dimly lit, crowded room,
But I can’t.
The music’s obnoxious beat pounds
Its song into my ears.
Making it hard to think and hear.
I have no idea where my friends are.
Probably flirting with some
drunken guys at this overrated club…
