I Believed You

I believed your every word
I believed your every lie
I stuck by your side
Even when you purposely made me cry.
You went behind my back
Betrayed my trust
I never did anything to hurt you on purpose
When you did wrong, I tried not to make a big fuss.
You let me get hurt in your face
But I still came back to you
I can’t believe I let my guards down for you
I can’t believe I dealt with the abuse.
I loved you
I know you loved me
You never let it show
But I know.
My family hates you ass
Your family hates mine
But, we tried to overcome it
We wanted the relationship to shine.
But then you started to doubt me
Then I doubted myself
I began to hurt myself
And degrade my wealth.
I always cried
I always hated
I never asked for this emotional pain
That’s why I never dated.
You drew me in
I had to dig myself out
I wanted to see that beautiful well for us
You created a drought.
It’s not completely your fault
That we had ended,
But you’re the reason why the word
From me had been suspended.
But out of everything
I am still confuse.
I still can’t get over the fact that I believed you.
