A bat circles in the night sky
To me a target
To me it's prey
I will leap
into the air,
I will not hurt it, this I swear

I will not hurt it, this I swear
When I bring it down,
Its wings will tear
But it will feel no pain
As I pop its vein
For I am
a merciful
cat.

Yum.

I was playing a writing game with my mom,and we had to write something from a first-sentence prop. I couldn't help making something cute and funny with a kitty once I got "A bat circles in the night sky".
